Well it is that time of year again… Tax Time. But paying your taxes doesn’t have to be taxing, as the IRS has many ways for you to pay.

You can pay by several different means:

  • Online
  • By phone
  • The IRS2GO app

Let’s break down the payment options:

1.) Direct Pay

You can pay directly from your checking or savings account online, and will get an immediate confirmation that payment has been submitted from the IRS. And with this option, you can schedule your direct pay up to 30 days in advance.

2.) Credit/Debit Cards

You can pay your taxes by use of credit or debit card: online, on the phone, or on the app. You can find the IRS number to submit payments to by clicking here on the IRS website.

3.) Installment Agreement

If you are unable to pay the total of your tax debt to the IRS, you may be qualified to set up an installment agreement with them to make monthly payments. Keep in mind that before you can apply for the installment agreement, you need to file all of your necessary tax documents. You can click here for the IRS website where you can apply for an installment agreement.

4.) Pay with Cash

Yes, cash still exists. You can chose to pay with cash at a retail provider listed by the IRS. Click here to find a location near you on the IRS website.
