An Entry Level Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough and accurate bookkeeper to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in managing the finances of our growing clientele, including data entry and monthly reconciliations. You will work closely and collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency and verity.

Bookkeeper Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software and regularly reconciling accounts.
  • Provide administrative support to management when required.
  • Assist in preparation and printing of annual government forms.
  • Meet all deadlines, no exceptions.
  • Assist others in meeting their deadlines- this is appreciated as well as rewarded.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of every aspect of clientele.
  • Attendance and participation in weekly team meeting.

Bookkeeper Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Problem solving skills are a must, as well as the ability to ask for help when needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proper equipment, including a computer, dual monitors and private, secure Wi-Fi.
  • Professionalism, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
