Here’s how to qualify:
The Residential Energy Efficient Property Credit
This tax credit is worth up to 30% of the costs (including installation) of certain energy-efficient improvements, if you qualify. This would include installation of: solar hot water heaters, solar electric equipment, wind turbines, and fuel cell property.
To qualify, your home must be in the United States BUT does not have to be your main home.
